This past Saturday on December 2, 2017 we conducted our first Silica Awareness class. We had a great turnout, it was a full house with over 45 people attending! Our trainer Miguel did a great job of keeping everyone engaged while providing very important information on the risks associated with silica and how to stay safe when working with it. Check out the pictures below taken during the class.
We offered this silica class to our employees as part of our ongoing safety training. We believe that everyone who works for us should learn about all of the hazards they may encounter on the job. It’s important to us to make sure that all of our workers stay safe and healthy and have an awareness of what risks or hazards they may encounter, as well as how they can prevent exposure to them.
For more information about silica check out the OSHA website Silica page, here. All of us at David Karchner & Associates believe that safety and training are extremely important, which is why we work hard to make sure our employees stay informed. We will continue to hold classes on silica and other hazards, if you are interested in a specific class or just want to know more about our training please contact us!
