David Karchner, founder of David Karchner & Associates, developed Karchner & Associates Training Systems, Inc. in 2002, which was just 3 years after David Karchner & Associates was started. The reason was because after a few years in the business David quickly realized that many of the people looking for work in the environmental field were not properly trained and that lead to dangerous situations on jobs sites. He saw the need for safety training.
One of our passions, as a company, is making sure that all of our employees have the proper safety training for any situation they are in. Whether they are getting a safety briefing, on the job site, before 
beginning an especially dangerous project, just getting a refresher to make sure they haven’t forgotten anything or they are taking a specialized course for something they have never done before. We do everything we can to make sure that our workers know how to be safe on the job.
Training is of the utmost importance to us because our employees are like family and we want to make sure they are equipped with everything they need to do their job safely. Our emphasis on safety allows us to retain our employees, prevent injuries and give our clients peace of mind when our workers are on their job sites.
This past weekend on Saturday June 3, 2017 we offered all of our employees an OSHA safety class and we had 45 attendees! Our trainer, Miguel, makes the class interesting and fun for the employees while still covering a wide range of important safety topics. As you can see from the pictures above, we had a full house at this class, which lets us know that our employees are interested to know how they can continue to keep themselves safe at work.
It’s important to us and our employees that they have every opportunity to learn about why we value safety on the job site and how they can protect themselves. In the future we will be offering OSHA safety classes once a quarter to make sure that all our employees are up-to-date with the latest safety information!
