We are seeking a driven, self-motivated, bilingual (English/Spanish) recruiter to join our team. This is a solid opportunity to join a team and contribute to the growth and expansion of a well-established staffing company that specializes in temporary labor. The team member we seek will have strong communication and problem solving skills, the willingness to go the extra mile for the client and our company, as well as be able to work to deliver results without direct supervision. This position is optimal for someone who does not want to work on a computer and be in an office environment all day. Much of your time will be spent in the field, where it is needed, especially in the beginning when building a labor pool and client list.
The candidate must be:
· Willing to use non-traditional recruiting methods to develop and maintain a pool of temporary employees. This means going out to training classes, job sites, local stores/hangouts, etc. to find qualified laborers. They will not have resumes online and most probably do not use social media or resume sites. Word of mouth and reputation among workers will be key in finding leads and expanding the labor pool and finding reliable people.
· Able to think outside the box and not afraid to do things differently
· Able to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed to meet with clients and develop labor pool
· Prepared to interact with both clients and employees
· Experienced with temporary staffing (sales, environmental cleanup and demolition experience is a plus)
· A highly motivated team player who can work effectively on their own with little direct supervision
· Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
Essential Job Functions:
· Use traditional and non-traditional methods to develop a pool of qualified candidates
· Fill staffing orders for clients with minimal advanced notice and do so with qualified and reliable temporary employees
· Manage labor pool, coach employees and understand employee licensing and certification in all the states we work in
· Complete and maintain employee paperwork with special attention to state and federal regulations
· Communicate effectively with employees, clients and our office staff to resolve any issues that may arise
· Recruit people at job sites, training facilities and other likely places and then use word of mouth and other effective methods to build our database of qualified workers
